"The youth program has changed my life in a myriad of ways. Every one of the people at NSA is unique and extremely fascinating. I learn so much from them. It’s not only the kids and leaders who have changed my life, but the speakers as well. They are filled with so much wisdom and knowledge and it’s so amazing that we get a chance to listen to their life changing stories. I always come home from NSA saying “That was the best time of my life.” I know I’m lying to myself when I say that though because I know I will say it next year and the year after that and the year after that." - Amanda Karr
"NSA is awesome! You get to hear lots of speakers from all over. You also meet lots of friends and hang out with cool counselors. NSA is a great experience!" - Bryan Domitrz
"The one thing I like about NSA is that you get to meet kids all over the world. I also like how we get to meet and hear many speakers. Finally, I definitely like the youth dance on the last day." - Tony Domitrz
"The NSA conference has definately made me a more confident and social person. It has also brought me out of my shell and allowed me to meet new people in a positive worry-free environment." - Kenny Feldhausen
"Given the opportunity to hear speakers' presentations as a young adult opposed to a teen easily distracted by friends was a blessing. Many of their stories and wisdom will stick with me forever. Often times I've wanted to bring along some of my friends from San Antonio to NSA so they can experience such an amazing four days, but when I try to explain NSA to them I consistently fail to find the words to describe it. The NSA Youth Program is no daycare, summer camp or feel good seminar, but more of a window to the real world that seems to form to the individuals who are blessed enough to attend it. I am not saying that the NSA Youth Program changed who I am today in one week, but that the twelve years that I went is a very large part of who I am today and always will be!" - Alex Robinson (past youth attendee and youth leader)
Last year our youth not only learned a lot, but they had a lot of fun.
